Calorie Tracker for Uber Eats ("the Extension") displays estimated calories and macronutrients on Uber Eats dish listings. This policy explains what data the Extension handles and why.
Account information (when you sign in). The Extension uses Google Sign-In. When you choose to sign in, we receive and store your email address, display name, and a Google account identifier. We do not receive your Google password.
Usage for quota enforcement. For users on the free plan, we record a timestamp each time you open a restaurant page, to enforce the free-tier limit. We do not store which restaurants or dishes you viewed.
Dish text for analysis. To estimate calories and macros, the names and descriptions of dishes on the page you are viewing are sent to our backend and to our AI provider (OpenAI). This text comes from the public Uber Eats page; we do not send your personal account data with it.
Payment information. If you subscribe to Premium, payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We store only Stripe identifiers needed to manage your subscription.
Local storage. An authentication token is stored locally in your browser so you stay signed in. It is not shared with third parties.
We use the data solely to authenticate you, display calorie/macro estimates, enforce free-tier limits, and process Premium subscriptions. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Each processes data under its own privacy policy.
Account data is retained while your account exists. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at the address below.
